Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid will today, Tuesday, clash with Bayern Munich in the Champions League second leg semi-final tie at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Zidane’s men heads into this clash with a 2-1 advantage after beating Bayern at the Allianz Arena last week Wednesday.
The Los Blancos will hope to beat the German giants so as to qualify for their third consecutive finals in three years.
Bayern Munich face an uphill struggle if they are to prevent Real Madrid from reaching a third straight Champions League final.
Apart from left-back, Dani Carvajal (thigh) and playmaker, Isco (shoulder), who are currently suffering from injury, Zidane has no new injuries problem in his squad ahead of this clash.
Meanwhile, Jupp Heynckes’s Bayern Munich must come from behind and defeat Madrid in Spain to stand any chance of reaching the final after suffering a 2-1 defeat at home.
Heynckes’s men took the lead in last week’s semi-final first leg through Joshua Kimmich, but goals from Marcelo and Marco Asensio gave Zinedine’s side a 2-1 win to take back to the Spanish capital.
Defender, Jerome Boateng is out for the rest of the season after picking up a thigh injury in the first leg, though David Alaba could return.
Midfielder, Javi Martinez may well miss out after picking up a concussion against Real, while Arjen Robben faces an anxious wait.
